i kinda can’t wait til tomorrow because we should be getting back the PDFs of feature one of our march/april issue aka our record store day story!
so so stoked, it felt awesome to send it off to our art director yesterday, finished and perfect and ready to go.
i’m so proud of the way it came out, the structure is so awesome, our reporting was really strong and we have some solid sources.
my part of the story’s got quotes from joe sib from side one dummy, the director of sales at warner brothers, shaun from taking back sunday, alex from lemuria, brian fallon from gaslight/horrible crowes, rev peyton and two dudes from looney tunes and generation records.
so awesome, still kinda can’t believe i was able to pull it off.
and i’ve also got a review on amy winehouse’s lioness in this issue too, which i’m also super proud of.
i can’t wait to see it all laid out :)
the rest of this week shouldn’t be so stressful, but all i can think about is this past saturday night in jersey with drinks at stubini’s and playing sam cooke and the misfits on the jukebox.
best night, best time, and waking up next to my boyfriend is something i’m never ever going to get tired of.
