also, i ran out to cvs to buy mascara and came home with purple lipstick too.
it wasn’t a huge splurge though since it’s rimmel by kate moss, but i’ve been wanting a deep purple lipstick for winter and i’m glad i have one!
i definitely have to keep my eye make up at a minimum when i wear it cause the color is such a strong statement, but i love it.
i also painted my nails a similar shade of purple and used my opi black shatter over it, so my nails matched my make up today :)
that first shot is me doing my best gaga impression at a cousin’s sweet 16 in poughkeepsie on saturday night.
it was the first time in a looooong time that i’ve had a full face of make up on, and i went all out with the black glittery cat-shaped smokey eye.
pretty successful, no?
also, taking photos in mirror reflections is so 2005.

second, i finally got my copy of left and leaving in the mail today!
i ordered it off of amazon, and it was supposed to be here by the 19th, and i was about to send a very angry e-mail the seller later today.
but it came, and i’m happy.
i made a fresh cup of black coffee and sat on the floor of my room listening and reading along to the lyrics sheet.
not a bad way to spend a tuesday night, anticipating an impending snow storm<3
